Tell Congress to create green collar jobs with solar energy!	Take Action!
Congress is working on legislation to create jobs, and no energy source creates more jobs per dollar invested than solar energy. Tell your members of Congress to support more jobs with renewable solar power. Ninety-four percent of Americans support the U.S. developing more solar energy - it's time for Congress to hear that message. Negotiators in the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate are considering four provisions that will help create solar jobs, starting today! Please tell them to: Extend the Treasury Grant program that provides cash in lieu of tax credits for commercial solar projects. Allow manufacturing facilities to qualify for the commercial solar investment tax credit. Restore the $2 billion to the DOE Loan Guarantee Program and make additional modifications including allowing DOE to directly hire consultants and temporary employees. Create a "Green Bank" to provide low-interest financing for solar and other renewable projects. Call your member of Congress today and ask that they support these solar provisions in the upcoming jobs legislation.
