At the recent Photonics West show, one of the visitors to the CREOL/FPC/FHTCC booth was a Mr. Brandon Smith, who discussed possible FPC member interest in exhibiting at the China International Optoelectronic Exposition (CIOE), with the possibility of a discount to FPC members. The CIOE is a worldwide renowned exhibition, which presents the most advanced optoelectronic technologies and innovations. Mr. Smith is the China Country Manager for Global Sources (www.globalsources.com).
A few points on the CIOE show provided by Mr. Smith:
1. CIOE is held in Shenzhen China, a major center of manufacturing, and very convenient to Hong Kong.
2. The is the 12th year of the show, and will attract 2,100 exhibitors and over 80,000 buyer attendees.
3. The 2010 show will be held September 6-9th.
4. There are several concurrent technical seminar programs held within the show, and speaking opportunities are also available.
