The 1.5 day course provides 2 options for individuals working in construction. Day 1 is a full day and upon completion attendees will receive a 10 Hour OSHA Construction Safety Certificate. The course includes top safety issues in the construction industry including: scaffolding, electricity, personal protective equipment, recordkeeping, hand and power tool safety, materials handling and more. These 10 hours quality for Fl Contractors CE's (CILB#0608113).
The next day, attendees will meet in the morning only and complete 4 hours of required courses for FL CE renewal for 2010. The topics include Business Practices, Laws and Rules, Wind Mitigation and Advanced Code (CILB#0608400). If contractors attend the 1.5 day course they will leave with 2 certificates: 14 hour renewal for their 2010 FL CE requirements AND a 10 Hour OSHA Construction Safety Card.
