The next General Members meeting of the Florida Photonics Cluster will be held jointly with the Manufacturers Association of Central Florida (MACF) on September 25, 2014. The meeting will be held at and hosted by Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control in Orlando. Please mark your calendars for this meeting, and please invite your company colleagues. Because of space limitations (90 persons max) and security requirements, only employees of FPC and MACF member organizations will be able to attend this meeting and all attendees must be US citizens, or permanent residents with Green Card.
Final details of the program and LMMFC requirements will be sent with an RSVP request soon, but the program will be our usual agenda, starting at 2:30pm with a brief presentation on the recent DoD RFI on the Institute for Manufacturing Innovation, three talks by LMMFC personnel on their operations, followed by a tour of two of the LMMFC facilities (Fire Control Factory and Optical Components Center), a hosted reception, and a no-host dinner at a local restaurant after the meeting.
Please set aside the afternoon and evening of 9/25/15 for this interesting meeting and networking event. Please also note that attendees should arrive between 1:30pm and NLT 2:00pm (earlier is best) and must complete the check-in process by 2:15pm to attend the meeting; late arrivals will not have a required escort available to go from the security check-in office to the meeting room. Parking at LMMFC is very limited and carpooling is highly recommended (possible off-site parking areas will be sent with the final agenda).
