The next general meeting of the FPC will be on Wednesday, June 23, starting at 3:00pm. The meeting will be held at the Burnham Institute at Lake Nona and the program will consist of presentations about the current activities and plans for the future for the Medical City developmentand a tour of some of the facilities . Tavistock Corporation and the Metro Orlando EDC are hosting the meeting with the objective of building mutually beneficial connections between the Medical City activities and the photonics community and industry in Florida. A similar effort was made recently with the simulation/training industry with good success.
